Connor Drinan Notches a Double Through Andrew Robl

Level 21 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

In the final hand before the remaining 12 players redrew for the last two tables, Connor Drinan managed to secure a seat with a crucial double.

Drinan made the standard opening raise of 20,000 from under the gun, and Andrew Robl three-bet to 51,000 from the cutoff. Holding the {Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades}, Drinan made his stand and moved all in for his last 235,000, and Robl called him down with the {5-Spades}{5-Diamonds} hoping to be in a coin flip situation.

Unfortunately for Robl, Drinan had the goods, and when the board ran out {8-Spades}{2-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{j-Clubs} his queens were good enough to secure the double.

Kyle White Eliminated in 12th Place ($30,412)

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Kyle White - 12th Place
Kyle White - 12th Place

Vasile Buboi opened for 35,000 from the button, and a short stacked Kyle White shipped his last 110,000 from the big blind. Buboi made the call, and both players opened up.

Showdown:

White: {A-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}
Buboi: {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}

White had found an ace to work with, but he was dominated by Buboi's jack kicker, and the flop of {5-Hearts}{3-Spades}{10-Hearts} missed him. On the {j-Spades} turn, White was drawing dead, and the {4-Hearts} on the river was a mere formality. With his 12th place finish, White earned more than $30,000, and the validation that comes with working his way through this extremely talented field.

Lee Markholt Forces Ryan D'Angelo Off the Pot

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Ryan D'Angelo raised to 27,000 from the cutoff, and Lee Markholt made the call from the big blind.

On the {5-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} flop, Markholt checked to D'Angelo, who fired a bet of 33,000 forward. Markholt check-raised to 88,000 and D'Angelo called, bringing the {a-Diamonds} to the table on the turn.

Markholt then led out for 163,000, and D'Angleo was a believer, sending his cards into the muck and surrendering the hand.

Markholt Gives Some Back to D'Angelo

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

With the flop reading {6-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{j-Spades}, Ryan D'Angelo tapped the table for a check, as did Jonathan Little. Lee Markholt decided to pounce on the pot, and he bet 34,000. D'Angelo made the call and Little mucked, bringing the {9-Diamonds} on board on the turn.

D'Angelo led out for 84,000 on fourth street, and Markholt called, but when D'Angelo shoved all-in for 265,000 on the {10-Clubs} river his power play earned him the pot.

Craig Fishman Calls Allen Bari's Bluff

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

With the board reading {3-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{q-Hearts} by the turn, we saw Erick Lindgren check to Craig Fishman, who bet out for 15,000. Allen Bari called, as did Lindgren, and the {4-Hearts} completed the board on the river.

Lindgren checked once more, and Fishman continued with a bet of 20,000. Bari moved a stack of 120,000 forward for the raise, and Lindgren got out of the way. Fishman asked for a count, and then shrugged before calling with {K-Spades}{2-Hearts} for two pair on the flop.

"Nice hand," offered Bari when he heard the call, and his cards were slid into the muck.

Dan Smith Eliminated in 11th Place ($30,412)

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Dan Smith - 11th Place
Dan Smith - 11th Place

With the chip lead firmly in his grasp, Vasile Buboi added more to his stack, and Dan Smith was his latest victim.

The action began when Buboi opened for 35,000 from the cutoff. Smith called out of the small blind, and Ryan D'Angelo went for the squeeze play, raising to 112,000 from the big blind.

Buboi flatted this bet as well, but Smith shoved all in for around 625,000, folding D'Angelo. Buboi moved a stack forward and called, turning over the {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}, which was actually just a slim underdog to the {6-Hearts}{6-Spades} tabled by Smith.

When the flop fell {8-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}, Smith's sixes were still in the lead, but Buboi had found a flush draw, and with two overcards still in his bag Buboi had plenty of outs. The {4-Clubs} on the turn was a blank, but the {a-Diamonds} on the river completed Buboi's flush, sending Smith home with an 11th place finish.

Lindgren Shoves On Bari

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Picking up the action after a {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} flop, Connor Drinan and Andrew Robl checked from the blinds. Allen Bari bet 55,000 from UTG, Erick Lindgren called from the hijack, and the blinds folded.

The {4-Clubs} turn fell and Bari bet again, but Lindgren stuck around to see the {A-Diamonds} river. Bari fired 280,000 and Lindgren wasted little time raising all in. Bari mulled it over for a bit, but ultimately folded.

Immediately after the hand, Bari was moved to balance the tables.
