T. J. Cloutier Brought His Game Face to Day 2

After winning a recent hand with {4-Spades}{4-Hearts} by flopping a set, T.J. Cloutier was a bit confused regarding Steve Bartlett's actions.

Apparently, Cloutier had bet his hand on the river, and Bartlett tossed out a single chip to signify a call.

Cloutier rolled over his winner, and went to claim the rest of Bartlett's short stack, thinking the single chip had actually represented an all-in declaration.

After being told that Bartlett had only called, Cloutier gently chided his much younger opponent in a tone typically reserved for perturbed grandfathers.

"I'm sorry son, in my day when they tossed one chip in after a bet it meant all in," drawled Cloutier. "I've played a poker tournament or two in my day, and that's always how it was."

Despite not claiming Bartlett's whole stack, Cloutier added to his own with the win, and he is quietly approaching a remarkable third cash in just his fourth WSOP event of the summer.
