O'Dell, Ohel in Danger Zone

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 1,500 ante
Randy Ohel is finding the rough to a second bracelet a bit rough.
Randy Ohel is finding the rough to a second bracelet a bit rough.

Frankie O'Dell bet every street against Rick Fuller before checking seventh.

Fuller: {8-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{4-Spades}
O'Dell: {3-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}

Fuller bet the end, and O'Dell called. "Eight-six," Fuller said, showing {5-}{2-}{9-}.

"Dirty," O'Dell said, flashing what we believe was an eight-seven before mucking.

A few hands later, Randy Ohel was betting it down after starting with a six-five against Bryan Campanello, who was calling down despite catching a rather nasty board.

Ohel: {6-}{5-}{8-}{k-}
Campanello: {a-}{4-}{4-}{4-}

Ohel bet again on the end, and Campanello raised him. A frustrated Ohel began working through the hand aloud, wondering if Campanello would raise him with an eight-perfect, among other questions. Finally, he made the call.

"Wheel," Campanello said, turning over {5-}{3-}{2-} in the hole. Ohel and O'Dell are now very low on chips.

Dealer Error in the Middle of Another Fuller and Alpert Duel

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 1,500 ante
Rick Fuller
Rick Fuller

Alpert: {X-}{X-}/{2-}{q-}{a-}{5-}{2-}
Fuller: {6-}{k-}/{8-}{9-}{j-}{j-}{5-}

On third street Joel Alpert completed with his {2-} showing. One other player called with a {10-} before Rick Fuller made it two bets with his {8-}. Action folded back to Alpert who made it three bets and only Fuller called.

On fourth street Fuller bet and Alpert called. On fifth street action was the same. On sixth street it was Alpert who bet and Fuller who called.

It was on seventh street that the dealer made an extreme error. He dealt both players their card face up instead of face down. Alpert received his {2-} while Fuller was dealt a {5-}.

"What are you doing?" Frankie O'Dell said angrily, standing up from his chair. "This is supposed to be the World Series of Poker."

The floor was called over and the ruling was made that since both players had the same disadvantage, they would continue the hand as normal. Both players checked on the river.

Alpert announced that he had a queen low, while Fuller announced that he had a jack low, showing his {K-} and {6-} under. Alpert stared at his hand for a while and snapped at the dealer when he went to grab it.

"I'll muck my own hand," he said, clearly a little frustrated at the situation.

Either way, Fuller was awarded the pot and he collected it quietly.

"It's better to be careful than fast," Randy Ohel said to the dealer after the hand, which most of the table agreed with.

Fuller Continues to Slide

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 1,500 ante

Joel Alpert, Rick Fuller and Frankie O'Dell each saw fourth street for three bets. Alpert, who had reraised on the first round, kept the lead on fourth with a {2-}{6-} when both of his opponents caught paint. O'Dell then bowed out on fifth with more paint, leaving Alpert and Fuller heads up.

Alpert: {2-}{6-}{k-}
Fuller: {6-}{k-}{3-}

Alpert bet again, and Fuller called. Fuller took an ever-so-slight lead on the board with an {a-} on sixth against Alpert's {4-}. Fuller went ahead and bet, and Alpert called. Fuller then put Alpert all in with one more bet on seventh.

"I made a number two," Alpert said, sliding his chips in and tabling {3-}{a-}{x-}. Fuller could only shake his head and laugh at his misfortune.

Fuller's dropped below the average stack after starting the day with a top-five stack.

Bryan Campanello Scoops Early Three-Way Pot

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 1,500 ante

Ohel: {X-}{X-}{X-}/{A-}{6-}{6-}{k-}
Alpert: {X-}{X-}{X-}/{A-}{5-}{K-}{7-}
Campanello: {4-}{2-}{5-}/{7-}{3-}{3-}{6-}

After a bring in, Bryan Campanello completed showing his {7-}. Randy Ohel called with his {A-}, before Joel Alpert raised with his {A-}. Both Ohel and Campanello called.

Alpert bet again on fourth street and was called by both players, this action continued of fifth, and sixth street. On seventh street, Alpert bet, Campanello raised, and Ohel folded. With action back on Alpert he made the call. Campanello showed with {4-}{2-}{5-} for a straight six-five low, and it was good to take down the pot.

Pauli Doubles

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 1,500 ante

Sebastian Pauli bet on fifth street in a heads-up pot against Rick Fuller despite showing a ten-eight high board against a ten-six. Fuller called, then called sixth as well.

Pauli: {3-}{8-}{10-}{q-}
Fuller: {6-}{10-}{a-}{k-}

Pauli put in his last few thousand on seventh, and Fuller called. Pauli showed {2-}{4-}{6-} for an eight-six, and Fuller couldn't beat it.

Brent Keller Strikes First Blood

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 1,500 ante

Brent Keller: {a-}{6-}{8-}/{a-}{2-}{5-}{7-}
Adam Szalay: {x-}{x-}{x-}/ {6-}{3-}{2-}{3-}

After Tommy Chen brought in with a {K-} up, Adam Szalay completed showing a {6-}. Action folded to Brent Keller who made it two bets. Only Szalay called.

On third street Keller bet and Szalay called. This action continued all the way down to seventh street where both players checked. Keller showed his {a-}{6-}{8-} under for a seven-six low and it was good enough to make Szalay muck.
