Ivey Loses One, Ivey Wins One

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Phil Ivey: {x-}{x-} / {j-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{9-Clubs} / {x-}
Randy Sim: {x-}{x-} / {3-Spades}{5-Spades}{q-Spades}{2-Diamonds} / {x-}
Brian Twete: {x-}{x-} / {a-Spades}{8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} / {x-}

Twete completed, and both Ivey and Sim made the call. Ivey made a better board on fourth, opting to check, and Sim bet. Both Twete and Ivey called. Ivey and Sim both knuckled on fifth, Twete bet, and both Ivey and Sim called. Twete led out on sixth when he made a pair of aces, only Sim called, and the two remaining players checked on seventh.

Twete showed {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}{10-Hearts} for aces up, and Sim tabled {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{4-Clubs} for a made low.

The next hand, Chris Bjorin brought it in with the {2-Clubs}, Ivey completed with a {6-Spades}, and Bjorin called. Ivey fired out bets on fourth and fifth as he received the {a-Hearts} and the {4-Diamonds}, and Bjorin called the first with the {7-Clubs}, then folded to the second with the {9-Diamonds}.

Tryba Busts

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Issa Tadros: {x-}{x-} / {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{4-Spades} / {x-}
Kristy Gazes: {x-}{x-} / {2-Diamonds}{j-Spades} (FOLD)
Chris Tryba: {x-}{x-} / {5-Clubs}{5-Spades}{j-Clubs}{6-Spades} / {x-}
Bradley Helm: {x-}{x-} / {5-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{7-Clubs} /{x-}

We caught up with the action on fourth street, where Tadros bet out with queens showing. Gazes folded, and both Tryba and Helm called. Tadros bet out again on fifth, Tryba called, and Helm raised, leaving just 200 behind. Tadros called, and Tryba called all in. Helm got his last 200 in on sixth street, and the hands were opened.

Tadros: {j-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} (Pair of queens)
Tryba: {6-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} (Sixes up)
Helm: {4-Diamonds}{2-Spades} (Made seven low)

Tadros didn't improve with the {a-Hearts} on seventh, and Helm ripped over a scoop card, the {3-Spades}. He made a six-high straight to go along with his seven low, and Tryba was unable to fill up, tossing his downcard into the muck.

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Javid Javani: {x-}{x-} / {6-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{5-Hearts}{j-Hearts} / {x-}
Dave Fox: {x-}{x-} / {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{6-Spades}{2-Diamonds} / {x-}
Toby Lewis: {x-}{x-} / {2-Spades}{a-Spades}{k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} / {x-}

We caught the action on fourth street, where Fox bet out and both players called. Javani and Lewis called bets from Fox on fifth, sixth, and seventh as well, then both players folded when Fox fanned {q-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} for trip sevens, scooping the pot.

Fox shot up to 57,000 chips, while Lewis and Javani fell to 12,500 and 19,000 respectively.
