Selbst Chops, Then Doubles

Level 7 : 400/800, 100 ante
Vanessa Selbst
Vanessa Selbst

A player brought in, before Vanessa Selbst completed the bet. She was called by both players as they all saw fourth street. Selbst bet and had one caller, before she was all in on fifth.

Player 1: {x-}{x-} / {3-Hearts}{Q-Spades} (folded on fourth)
Selbst: {7-Spades}{A-Clubs} / {A-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{K-Spades} / {a-Spades}
Player 2: {2-Clubs}{5-Clubs} / {J-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{6-Spades}{Q-Clubs} / {8-Diamonds}

On sixth, Selbst’s opponent made a flush, but she would then make a full house to guarantee her the high. Going into seventh, she had the pot locked up until her opponent rolled over the {8-Diamonds} to earn himself half.

In the next hand, another player brought it in, as Jeff Lisandro completed the bet. Brandon Cantu called, as did Selbst, as the three went to fourth. There, the three checked as fifth was dealt out. Lisandro and Cantu checked to Selbst, who bet. Lisandro called and Cantu raised, as Selbst committed the last of her chips in. Lisandro folded and all the cards were tabled.

Selbst: {2-Spades}{6-Clubs} / {7-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{2-Hearts} / {10-Spades}
Cantu: {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} / {4-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{6-Hearts} / {4-Spades}

Selbst made a full house on sixth, and scooped the pot when Cantu couldn’t hit his low with his last card.
