Before the level changed, Konstantin Puchkov raised to 10,500 in early position, Jesse Martin three-bet to 35,000 on the button, and Puchkov called. Puchkov drew one, Martin stood pat, and both players checked.
Puchkov showed two deuces, but Martin wouldn't flip his hand over until Puchkov either tabled all of his cards or mucked his hand. Earlier today, Puchkov did this twice, once time against John Hennigan when Hennigan showed two sevens, and another time against Paul Volpe who announced a worse hand than what Puchkov was holding. In both instances, Puchkov wouldn't show until the player fanned their entire hand.
Finally, Puchkov showed , and laughing, Martin tabled .
Jon Turner began the action with an under-the-gun raise to 12,500. Players around the table tossed their cards away until it hit Layne Flack in the small blind. Flack reached into his stack and came out with a three-bet to 34,500. James Lee then sat thinking in the big blind for about a minute before announcing that he was all in for roughly 160,000 total. Turner folded and Flack quickly called.
Both players rapped the table, signifying that they would stand pat. Flack instantly rolled over and Lee nodded his head in acknowledgement. Lee took one last look at his hand before mucking his cards. Flack's eighty-seven was able to score the elimination and send Lee home as the 10th place finisher.
Calvin Anderson open-shoved all in for 96,000 in the cutoff, Jeff Lisandro tanked for quite some time before calling in the small blind, and Layne Flack tanked even longer before calling in the big blind. Lisandro stood pat, Flack slapped the railing, standing pat as well, and Calvin anderson sighed.
"S***," he said under his breath.
He tossed away one card.
Lisandro and Flack quickly checked, and Flack flashed a ten-high before mucking. Lisandro fanned for a ninety-seven, and Anderson was forced to show for a pair of fours.
Anderson hit the rail in 11th place, earning $19,283
John Hennigan opened the betting with a raise to 12,000 from UTG+1. It folded to Jess Martin who cut out a three-bet to 40,000 from the button. David Bakes Baker called the re-raise from the big blind and Hennigan decided to get away from it.
Baker took one card while Martin opted to stay pat. Both players checked the final round of betting and Martin showed . Baker mucked his hand and Martin dragged in a pot that brings his stack to right around 435,000 in chips.
While at Table 359, we noticed that there was action going down at Table 360. When we arrived, Calvin Anderson and Jeff Lisandro were heads up post draw, and Anderson tossed out 18,500. Lisandro opted to raise, sliding out 78,500, and Anderson tank-called.
Lisandro quietly fanned for an eight perfect, and Anderson frustratedly dropped his cards into the muck, revealing an .
Ashton Griffin shoved for 89,000 from under the gun. Layne Flack tank-called on the button, and both blinds released. Griffin and Flack both drew one card.
