Wilhoit Shoves on Tims

Level 16 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

There was already about 35,000 in the middle before the flop when we arrived to see the dealer fan out a {10-Hearts}{5-Spades}{5-Hearts} flop. Jeff Tims was heads up with David Wilhout, and Tims fired right out with 20,000. It only took Wilhout about 10 seconds to announce all in, a bet of 79,000 total. Tims was in the tank for about a minute before apologizing to the table for taking a while. Eventually, after another minute or so, Tims mucked his hand, and it looked like Wilhout let out a big breath of relief as he took in the huge pot to up his stack to 158,000.

Meanwhile, Tims fell down to 120,000 on that hand.

Tims Gets It Back And Then Some

Level 16 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

The player under the gun moved all in for his final 39,300 and action folded to David Wilhoit who called from middle position. Jeff Tims, in late position, also moved all in for an additional 78,800 and the rest of the table folded back to Wilhoit. Wilhoit went into the tank counting his chips and the pot and struggled with the decision. After quite some time, he ended up making the call "because there is too much money out there".

UTG: {a-Spades}{j-Spades}
Wilhoit: {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Tims: {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}

The {k-Spades}{2-Spades}{5-Hearts} provided some excitement as it gave the UTG player a flush draw but it was for naught as nothing would materialize when the {9-Clubs} turn and {2-Clubs} river came. The queens of Tims held up and he raked a huge pot, eliminating the UTG player and leaving Wilhoit with just 5,000 in chips. Wilhoit would be eliminated a few hands later.

Hanowski Eliminates Jaka

Level 16 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante
Faraz Jaka (From Day 1)
Faraz Jaka (From Day 1)

We came to the action as a third player moved all in from the big blind. Faraz Jaka and Martin Hanowski already had their chips in the middle from middle and late position respectively.

Big Blind: {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}
Jaka: {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}
Hanowski: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

The board fell {6-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{j-Clubs} and Hanowski's set of tens eliminated two players at once and giving him an above average stack.
