Jacks Work for Danzer

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

Last year's runner up in this event, team PokerStars pro George Dazner, made day two with an average stack, and has since padded it to almost 30,000. In the latest hand, we saw that Danzer and his lone opponent had two bets in front of them going to the flop. That came down {3-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{q-Spades}, and Danzer elected to check raise after his opponent bet. He was called, and the {q-Diamonds}, and Danzer checked again. His opponent fired out, and Danzer just called this time. When the {5-Diamonds} hit the river, both players checked, and Danzer showed {k-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{7-Spades}{j-Clubs} for queens and jacks. His opponent could only muster up the {10-Clubs} for a lesser two pair, and Danzer won the pot to get up to 27,000.
