Wild Hand at Table #423

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 0 ante

Stud-8

Cantu: {x-}{x-} / {6-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{4-Spades} / {x-}
Ho: {x-}{x-} / {9-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{5-Spades}{8-Spades} / {x-}
Fujii: {x-}{x-} / {10-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{k-Diamonds} / {x-}
Gallin: {x-}{x-} / {2-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{a-Spades} / {x-}
Opponent 1: {x-}{x-} / {7-Spades}{6-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} / {x-}

Your eyes do not decieve you. We just saw a hand at table 423 that saw five players make it all the way to seventh street. Lawrence Fujii, Brandon Cantu, and Opponent 1 were all in on third street, while Mario Ho and Jonathan Gallin were left to fight for a side pot. Both players checked on fourth street, and Gallin bet on fifth. Ho raised it up, and Gallin called. Both players checked again on sixth street, and Gallin bet out on seventh, with Ho making the call.

Gallin announced "threes full" and showed {3-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}. Ho was clearly frustrated when she saw Gallin's hand, and we saw why when she showed the {9-Hearts} and {9-Spades} in the hole for an inferior trip nines. Cantu was shocked to see that he was the only player with a low, as he had the worst low possibe 8-4, but it was good enough to claim half the pot, while Fujii and the other player were eliminated.
