A Double for Duckworth

Level 16 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante
Tim Duckworth
Tim Duckworth

Tim Duckworth has doubled up and is now sitting with 79,000 in chips.

The cutoff raised to 6,000 and the small blind three-bet to an unknown amount. Duckworth found {A-Spades}{K-Spades} in the hole in the big blind and he four-bet all in. The cutoff folded but the small blind called with {A-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}.

The board ran out {2-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{4-Spades}, ace-king high winning the pot for Duckworth.

Another One Outer!

Level 16 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

When Christopher Danek got his chips in with {K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} against {Q-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} he must have been rubbing his hands together in anticipation of adding to his stack, especially when another player claimed to have folded {K-}{Q-}.

However, chips were not added to Danek's stack as the five community cards read {A-Spades}{10-Spades}{a-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} to see 75,000 of Danek's chips shipped to the other side of the table.

Heath Mendelsohn was the man on the right side of the one outer and is now up to 165,000 chips.

Duckworth Decimated

Level 16 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Tim Duckworth is down to 12,000 or four big blinds and is in need of a double up.

Duckworth opened to 6,500 from under the gun and found two callers, one on the button and the other in the big blind. The trio saw the dealer fan out the {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop, a flop that all three players checked.

The turn brought the {7-Hearts} into play and it was checked to the button who bet 9,000. Only Duckworth called. Duckworth then checked the {5-Hearts} river then tanked when his opponent made it 22,000 to play. Duckworth found a call, but couldn't beat te {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} being shown to him and he mucked his hand.
