The Family Slay

Earlier in the day we wrote a quick recap of a hand involving one Kelly Slay, but at that time the post mentioned Kelley Slay. Eventually it was discovered that both names were listed on the World Series of Poker's official report for Day 2, and although we admittedly suspected a misprint at first, a bit of investigation by our very own MrCleverFox has shown that both Kelly Slay and Kelley Slay played in this event.
In fact, Kelly Slay is the wife of Kelley Slay, and while he was eliminated earlier in the night, Kelley has stuck around to cheer Kelly on. Confused? Well, we were too.
It turns out both of the Slays managed to make the money here in Event #54, and this marks the first time that this pair of poker players have cashed in the same event. With Kelly still nursing a short stack late in Day 2, Kelley is hoping his better half secures the couple a berth in Day 3's race to the final table.
