Fabian Deimann Eliminated in 18th Place ($26,342); Kurtzman Crippled

Level 23 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Fabian Deimann - 18th Place
Fabian Deimann - 18th Place

Fabian Deimann fired a bet after three small hearts flopped. Vincent Maglio raised, and Deimann shoved all in. Maglio called instantly, showing {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts} for the nut flush. Deimann turned over {k-Spades}{q-Hearts} for two overs and a weaker flush draw, leaving him drawing dead.

At the other table, Eric Kurtzman and Nicolas Levi got it all in preflop. Kurtzman held {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}, while Levi had {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}. The board ran out {6-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{3-Hearts}{q-Hearts}, and Levi took nearly all of Kurtzman's chips.

Nicolas Faure Gets A Massive Double

Level 23 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Nicolas Faure
Nicolas Faure

After missing the preflop action, we caught up with Nicolas Faure and Nikolaus Teichert involved in a huge pot on a flop of {7-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{3-Spades}. After a series of bets, Teichert had a reraise of 310,000 total in front of him. Faure had jammed all in for 736,000 total and very quickly Teichert called.

Teichert: {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}
Faure: {7-Hearts}{3-Hearts}

Teichert's aces had lost a huge amount of value after Faure had flopped two pair. The turn {8-Diamonds} and river {2-Hearts} were no help to Teichert and Faure was able to grab a massive double right when it mattered, going down to the final two tables.

Rahul Raju Byrraju - 20th Place

Rahul Byrraju got all in preflop against Sebastien Comel.

Byrraju: {k-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Comel: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}

Byrraju was miles behind but found some hope on the {j-Clubs}{6-Spades}{7-Clubs} flop. He surged into the lead when the {k-Diamonds} turned, but a {6-Clubs} on the river turned his fortunes right back around by giving Comel a better two pair.

Dan Owen Doubles Into the Millionaire's Club

Level 23 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

After grinding out a shorter stack from the start of the day Dan Owen has now joined the millionaire's club.

It happened on a board of {6-Spades}{7-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{3-Clubs}. Owen had moved all in for a total of 339,000. In the seat to his left Eric Kurtzman was in the tank. After about two minutes of thinking it over, Kurtzman made the call, but he wasn't happy with what he saw.

Kutzman: {K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}
Owen: {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds}

Kurtzman had top pair with a good kicker, but it was no match for Owen's aces. The board bricked off with the {8-Diamonds} on the river and Owen was able to double huge into the exclusive millionaire's club.

John Scaife Eliminated in 21st Place ($21,326)

Level 23 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
John Scaife
John Scaife

Action folded to Nicolas Faure on the button and he raised to 32,000. John Scaife was in the small blind and he jammed all in for the rest of his chips. The big blind folded, but Faure didn't, he called quickly and the hands were put on their backs.

Faure: {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}
Scaife: {A-Spades}{6-Diamonds}

The flop came down {2-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{J-Clubs} putting a stranglehold on the hand for Faure as he had paired his live card and Scaife didn't have a club. The turn was the {7-Diamonds} leaving Scaife drawing dead. The river was dealt the {6-Clubs} giving Scaife a pair, but it didn't matter as Faure had a better pair.

Sacife didn't leave empty handed though, he still collected $21,326 for his finish.
