Laak Stacks with Two Pair

Level 8 : 250/500, 50 ante

Following a raise to 1,000, Phil Laak made the call from the small blind before the big blind three-bet to 3,200. The original raiser folded, but Laak made the call as the flop landed {5-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}.

Both players checked, and when the {Q-Diamonds} landed on the turn, Laak pushed forward all his 1,000-denomination chips amounting to roughly 40,000. The big blind paused for a few moments before making the call for his remaining 10,000 or so.

Laak: {10-Spades}{8-Spades}
Opponent: {K-Clubs}{Q-Spades}

The river landed the {2-Clubs} and Laak sent his opponent to the rail while moving his stack upwards of 65,000 in chips.
