Rudolph Cripples Radoja

Level 18 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

The hand started with Christian Rudolph opening to 10,000 from the cut-off, as Jonathan Little made the call from the button. Mark Radoja was sitting on the small blind, and after looking down at his cards, opted to move all in for just over 200,000 in chips. Rudolph asked for a count, before making the call for less, as Little got out of the way.

Rudolph: {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}
Radoja: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}

Both players had big hands, but Rudolph would hold on to his lead, as the board ran out {8-Clubs}{6-Spades}{q-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{3-Spades} to see him double considerably, leaving Radoja with a few chips behind.

Francis Spikes Turn to Double

Level 17 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

JC Tran opened with a raise preflop and Patrick Francis defended the big blind to see a {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}{7-Spades} flop fall. Francis checked and Tran bet out 10,000 before having Francis move all in for 38,500. Tran thought for a few moments before making the call.

Tran: {4-Diamonds}{4-Spades}
Francis: {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}

With Tran in the lead, the {Q-Diamonds} on the turn would give Francis the advantage as the {2-Hearts} completed the board on the river to ensure his double.

Lyndaker Eliminated

Level 17 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Richard Lyndaker moved all in for his last 13,000 in chips, and after a slight pause, was called by Daniel Buzgon to his left. The rest of the table folded, as both players tabled their cards.

Lyndaker: {a-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}
Buzgon: {4-Clubs}{4-Spades}

The window card brought the {4-Diamonds} as Lyndaker quickly asked for a deuce, before the dealer spread out the rest of the {2-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} flop. But he was unable to improve, as the {8-Hearts} and {a-Diamonds} completed the board, sending him to the rail.

Buddiga Gets Some off Trickett

Level 17 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Sam Trickett opened to 8,000 from under the gun, and was called by Pratyush Buddiga on the big blind, after the rest of the table had folded. The flop came down {j-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}, as Buddiga checked his option, before Trickett threw out a continuation bet of 9,000. Buddiga called, and check called another bet of 23,000, when the {j-Clubs} fell on the turn. With the {4-Spades} completing the board, both players opted to check, before Buddiga rolled over his {j-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} for a full house, which was enough to take down the pot.

The Lead for Berkey

Level 17 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

We caught the action on a {j-Spades}{10-Clubs}{6-Hearts} flop, with Matt Berkey facing a raise to 68,000 from Jonathan Cohen, after he initially threw out 18,000. He tanked for a few minutes, before finally making the call, as both saw the {a-Spades} fall on the turn.

Berkey then announced all in for 150,000, which had Cohen covered, who was now at risk. He thought about his decision for a minute, before making the call.

Berkey: {K-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Cohen: {10-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}

Berkey had turned the nut-straight, and had to dodge a ten or jack on the river to propel him up the leader board. The {9-Clubs} on the river was no help for Cohen, who was eliminated from the tournament.
