When we last saw Henry Van Tran, the excitable player was being assessed a penalty in the 2012 Main Event for his deliberately slow play, as well as a bit of verbal misconduct directed at a tournament director.

Today, Van Tran is playing nice, especially after notching an early double.

Tran moved all in over the top of a raise with the flop reading {5-Spades}{7-Clubs}{8-Spades}. His opponent tanked for a minute before calling off with {a-Spades}{10-Spades}, and Tran found himself ahead with his {A-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}.

When the turn ({2-Clubs}) and river ({k-Clubs}) brought no spades or tens to the board, Tran's flopped top pair held up for the win.
