Chiu Bets, Earns Fold

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

Alexander Condon raised from under the gun and David Chiu defended his big blind. Both took two on the first draw, with Chiu betting and Condon calling. Chiu took one on the second and Condon two, and again Chiu bet and Condon called.

Chiu then stood pat as Condon drew one, and when Chiu bet Condon went into the tank for more than half a minute before folding, showing his {9-}{7-} as he did. Chiu grinningly showed two of his cards, too — {J-}{9-} — and Condon had to laugh.
