Hands 99-101: Bennington Building

Level 33 : 100,000/200,000, 30,000 ante

Hand #99: Chen raised his button to 400,000 and was called in two spots, by Gray in small blind and Liberto in the big. A flop of {A-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{2-Spades} prompted Gray and Liberto to check, but Chen continued with a bet of 450,000. Gray flatted and Liberto folded, bringing the {7-Hearts} on turn. Both players checked, and did so again on the {9-Spades} river. Opening {A-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for top pair, Gray took the pot down.

Hand #100: Chen raised again, this time opening to 400,000 from under the gun. In the small blind, Liberto three-bet to 945,000, a move which was met by a four-bet to 1.7 million. Liberto flat-called this large bet and we saw a flop of {q-Spades}{10-Hearts}{7-Clubs} appear. Despite the aggressive preflop action, however, both players checked the flop and the {10-Spades} came on the turn. Two more checks later, the {K-Diamonds} completed the board, and Liberto led out for a bet of 1.5 million. Chen couldn't stand the heat, so he got out of the kitchen with a quick fold.

Hand #101: Gray opened for 550,000 from under the gun, and Bennington flatted in the small blind to see a flop of {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{6-Hearts} arrive. Both players checked the textured board, and the {K-Diamonds} came on the turn, prompting another check by Bennington. Gray fired away with a 700,000 wager, but he could not lose his stubborn opponent. After the river delivered the {8-Clubs}, Bennington moved all-in for 1.85 million, causing Gray to tank for a minute or two before ultimately making the call. Bennington rolled over the {A-Hearts}{k-Spades} for trip kings, top kicker, and big slick proved to be enough.
