Carroll Notches Huge Double

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

We only caught the aftermath of the hand, but we saw one of the few notables remaining, James Carroll, take down a huge pot to put him up there with our chip leaders. We know that on a flop of {k-Spades}{5-Hearts}{j-Spades}, Carroll got all of his 255,000 stack into the middle, and he was in great shape against the {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs} of Mario Sanchez. Carroll was just looking to dodge an ace, and he did that on the {2-Spades} turn, and the {q-Hearts} river.

Once the chips were counted down, Carroll rocketed up to 525,000. Despite taking that hit, Sanchez is still well above average with 380,000.
