O'Donnell Snatches Chip Lead On One of the Last Hands

Level 8 : 400/800, 0 ante

As all of the other tables were bagging and tagging, Matt O'Donnell had a raise to 82,000 in on the river against Justin Smith, who had 32,800 out in front of him. The final board was {Q-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{8-Clubs}, and Smith sat in the tank for a couple of minutes. Eventually, he opted to fold his hand, and O'Donnell won the pot. With this pot, O'Donnell pushed to nearly 270,000 in chips, and that should put him int he clear to be the overnight chip leader.
