Simon Lam Eliminated

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Simon Lam
Simon Lam

Action folded around to Simon Lam on the button, and he moved all in for his last 215,000. Dan Owen folded his small blind, and Byron Kaverman thought for a couple minutes in the big blind. Eventually, he called and showed {j-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}. Lam was slightly ahead with {k-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}. The flop changed his fortunes, however, coming {j-Spades}{q-Spades}{3-Clubs} and putting Kaverman in the lead with a pair of jacks. The turn was the {2-Spades} and the river was the {7-Clubs}, both bricks. Kaverman won the pot, and Simon Lam was eliminated.
