Secondary Table: Trips for McLaughlin

Level 31 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante

Hand #39: Chris Lindh raised to 360,000 from the hijack, and Alexander Livingston called from the big blind. The flop brought three low cards — {6-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} — and Livingston checked right away. Lindh set out a bet of 405,000, then Livingston raised to 1,045,000. Lindh sat for about 20 seconds, then said he was reraising all in and Livingston instantly folded.

Hand #40: Lindh again opened the betting, raising to 360,000 from middle position. Carlos Mortensen called from the button, and Marc McLaughlin came along as well from the big blind. The flop came {8-Hearts}{7-Spades}{K-Hearts}, and McLaughlin led out with a bet of 675,000. Lindh called the bet while Mortensen folded.

Both checked the {Q-Spades} turn, then fifth street brought the {8-Spades}. McLaughlin bet 1.4 million, Lindh called, then McLaughlin tabled {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for trip eights and Lindh mucked.
