Shannon Shorr opened to 2,500 from under the gun plus one, and found a call from the player in the cut-off. The flop came , and Shorr threw out a continuation bet of 3,300, which was called. The fell on the turn, and Shorr bet out another 7,000 which was instantly called.

Coren Crushed in Set-Over-Set

Following a raise under the gun to 2,300, Andy Black made the call next to act along with Victoria Coren from the small blind before the big blind bumped it up to 8,100. All three remaining players made the call as the flop was met with an all-in shove from Coren totalling 23,000.

The big blind opted to raise to 51,000 to put the original preflop raiser into the tank for over five minutes before he eventually laid his hand down before Black instantly mucked.

Elder Sends One Packing

From middle position Rupert Elder raised to 2,500. Action folded around to the player in the cutoff who reraised to 8,200. When action folded back around to Elder he put in a fourth bet to 17,200. The player in the cutoff five-bet all in for a total of 44,800. Elder called it off.

It was a race situation and could go either way, but the flop fell in favor of Elder. All he needed to do was dodge a queen or a running straight to take down the pot. The turn was a bit of a sweat when it came the giving the cutoff player four more outs, but Elder dodged them all on the river to scoop the pot.
