McKoy Doubles

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Erkut Yilmaz opened the button to 26,000 and Steven Mckoy called from the small blind before Marius Pospiech made it 100,000 from the big blind.

Yilmaz folded, but when the action returned to Mckoy, he moved all in for 451,000 with Pospiech quickly calling.

Mckoy: {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}
Pospiech: {A-Spades}{K-Spades}

The board ran out {5-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{9-Spades}{10-Hearts} to see Mckoy double to 945,000 as Pospiech slipped to 515,000 in chips.

Sears Nearing 1.4 Million

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Nikolai Sears led out for 65,000 on a flop of {2-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{2-Clubs}. His opponent, Marcel Luske, called.

The turn was the {9-Spades}, Sears slowed down, checking to the Flying Dutchman, who quickly slid forward 135,000. Sears called.

Both players knuckled when the {a-Diamonds} completed the board, and Luske showed {q-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for a pair of eights. It was no good against Sears' {a-Spades}{q-Spades} for a pair of queens, however, and Luske fell to 225,000 chips. Sears now has 1.38 million.

Chen Doubles

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Tommy Chen pushed all in for 134,000 from middle position. Action folded to Brian Appelbaum, who made a call that he said he didn't want to make.

Appelbaum: {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}
Chen: {4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}

Appelbaum's call had been fine, but a {j-Spades}{3-Clubs}{4-Hearts} wasn't, from his perspective. The {a-Hearts} turn gave him a possible straight draw, but he paired up instead on the {q-Diamonds} river.

Ramage Back Above 2 Million

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Grayson Ramage
Grayson Ramage

Sergei Stazhkov opened to 25,000 under the gun and Grayson Ramage three-bet to 55,000 from the button. Action folded back to Stazhkov who shoved for 382,000. Ramage quickly called with {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}, racing with Stazhkov's {J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}.

The flop fell {Q-Spades}{7-Spades}{4-Diamonds}, no help to Ramage. The {9-Hearts} turn left Ramage with six outs to score the knockout and sure enough, the {A-Clubs} landed on the river to pair Ramage's ace and eliminate Stazhkov.

Chu Finds a Double

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

The action folded around to Hai Chu in the small blind, who limped in. Zachary Wiess checked from the big blind, as both players saw the flop come {8-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}. Chu checked, before Weiss bet out 15,000. Chu then instantly moved all in for his last 78,000. Weiss asked for a count, before making the call.

Chu: {q-Clubs}{q-Spades}
Weiss: {5-Clubs}{7-Clubs}

Chu had the over-pair and held, as the board ran out the {k-Clubs} and {9-Clubs} to double up.
