Porter Making His Presence Known

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Rep Porter replaced Emile Petit in the Mothership, and on his third hand at the table, he raised it up to 32,000 from under the gun +1. Jonathan Jaffe reraised to 80,000 next to act, and action quickly folded back around to Porter. It only took him a couple seconds to announce raise, then he put out a bet of 632,000, enough to move Jaffe all in. Jaffe thought it over for about a minute before kicking his hand in, and Porter took down the first pot he entered at the featured table.

Two Wise Men

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

After three-way preflop action, Kevin Allen and Anthony Wise were all in preflop against Seaver Kyaw.

Allen: {k-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Wise: {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}
Kyaw: {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}

The flop fell {10-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{2-Spades}, giving Kyaw a pair of jacks and a few backdoor draws, but the turn and river bricked {8-Clubs}, {9-Spades} respectively. Allen hit the rail, Wise more than doubled to 690,000 chips, and Kyaw is still very healthy with 1.6 million.

Abueid Wins Big Pot Against Gohr

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Sam Abueid opened to 35,000 from middle position, before facing a raise to 85,000 from Sebastian Gohr on the small blind. He made the call, as both saw the flop come {9-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}.

Gohr reached for his chips, and bet out 70,000. Abueid called. The {10-Hearts} fell on the turn, and Gohr checked his option. Abueid thought for a moment, before cutting out a bet of 150,000, and sliding it out into the middle. Gohr called the bet, before the {7-Spades} completed the board.

Another check from Gohr prompted Abueid to bet out 200,000. Gohr deliberated over his decision for a minute, before making the call.

“Straight,” said Abueid, before tabling his {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}. Gohr quickly mucked his hand, awarding the big pot to Abueid.

Don't look at my face, I'm not a beautiful lady, I'm an ugly man!

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Keanu Tabali limped the button and Yi Fang checked his option.

"I check blind. Give you a chance to make a mistake!"

The flop landed {K-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{10-Clubs} and Tabali bet out 16,000.

"I told you you would make a mistake and you did!" stated Fang as he check-raised to 32,000.

As Tabali starred at Fang, Fang announced, "Don't look at my face, I'm not a beautiful lady, I'm an ugly man!"

Tabali would make the call, and when the turn landed the {6-Clubs}, Fang bet out 40,000 and started to pretend he was wheeling in a fish in the direction of Tabali. Tabali folded and Fang raked in the pot to move to 1.7 million.

Kings Serve O'Neal

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Luca Moschitta raised to 36,000 from middle position, then Brendon O'Neal reraised all in from the hijack seat for his last 165,000 or so. It folded back around to Moschitta who called the shove, and he winced a little as he saw O'Neal table his {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}.

Moschitta was drawing live, though, with his {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}, and after the {5-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} he called for a trey to give him a winning wheel. But the turn was the {5-Clubs} and river the {5-Hearts}, and O'Neal earned the double-up.

Erik Backlund Eliminated By Ryan Olson

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Ryan Olson opened from the hijack and Eric Backlund three-bet to 75,000 from the small blind. Olson called to see a {10-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} and after Backlund bet 140,000, Olson shoved for 415,000. Backlund called all in for just a little bit less.

Olson: {A-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Backlund: {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}

The {9-Clubs} turn changed nothing, but Olson caught the {10-Spades} on river to make trip tens to score the elimination.

Potter Doubles Through Johnson

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Jason Potter moved all in for just under 200,000 from the hijack, and Chris Johnson called from the cutoff. Everyone else folded.

Potter: {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
Johnson: {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

The flop came down {9-Spades}{10-Clubs}{2-Hearts}, leaving Potter with top pair but having to fade two overs and a gutshot. A blank {9-Diamonds} hit the turn, and we went to the river with the same sweat. The dealer burned and turned a {10-Spades}, and Potter doubled up with his boat.

Rettenmaier Adds 300,000

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Marvin Rettenmaier
Marvin Rettenmaier

Steve Bartlett raised to 32,000 from under the gun. Philip Long and Zhiwei Zhou called, and Marvin Rettenmaier three-bet to 116,000 from the small blind. Only Long called. The flop came {10-Spades}{6-Spades}{10-Clubs}, and Rettenmaier continued for 92,000. Long called, bringing the {k-Spades} on the turn. Rettenmaier thought for a couple minutes before cutting out a bet of 146,000. Long took his time before calling, and then the {9-Hearts} hit the felt on the river. Rettenmaier again took a couple minutes before acting. Once he made his decision, he announced, “All-in.” The bet was 450,000, and Long elected to fold, yielding the pot to Rettenmaier.
