Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante
Vitaly Lunkin - 46th Place
Vitaly Lunkin - 46th Place

The action folded to two-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner Vitaly Lunkin on the button, and the Russian rubbed his hands together in excitement. He looked down at his two cards, looked up, and announced that he was all in. The small blind released, and Nicolas Le Floch looked down at his own cards, snap-calling.

Lunkin: {a-Hearts}{8-Clubs}
Le Floch: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}

Le Floch's hand held up as the board came {4-Spades}{9-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}, and Lunkin was eliminated in 46th place.

Alexander Earns a Double

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

After Jason Mann raised to 170,000 from middle position, James Alexander reraised all in for 855,000 from the cutoff and it folded back around to Mann.

Mann was considering what to do and began talking as his did, mentioning that he had eight-high and it would be a bad call. A floor person instructed Mann not to talk about his hand further or he'd risk a penalty, and at last Mann did make the call.

Mann indeed had eight-high, tabling {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}, while Alexander showed {K-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}. The board ran out {J-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{9-Spades}{5-Clubs}{7-Spades}, and Alexander doubled up.

Chips for Castelluccio

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Sergio Castelluccio raised to 160,000 from middle position and got a single caller in Dan Owen in the big blind. The flop came {3-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{4-Clubs}, and both players checked. The turn then brought the {A-Clubs} and another check from Owen. Castelluccio fired 200,000 this time, and Owen called.

The river was the {9-Diamonds}. Owen checked again, and when Castelluccio bet 600,000, Owen let his hand go.
