Hand #141: Loosli Forced to Raise; McLaughlin Shoves

Level 38 : 400,000/800,000, 100,000 ante

Ryan Riess had the button in Seat 4.

Sylvain Loosli opened to 1.75 million from the cutoff seat, and Marc-Etienne McLaughlin called from the big blind. McLaughlin checked the {K-Spades}{8-Spades}{5-Spades} flop, and Loosli bet 2 million. McLaughlin check-raised to 5.2 million, and Loosli slid out an amount that was less than a full raise, but more than half of the original raise, therefore it was ruled that Loosli had to reraise to 8.4 million. McLaughlin moved all in for 22.625 million, and Loosli folded.

Hand #139: McLaughlin Wins with River Bet

Level 38 : 400,000/800,000, 100,000 ante

Jay Farber had the button in Seat 9.

Marc-Etienne McLaughlin raised to 1.6 million. Once again Ryan Riess called the raise from McLaughlin out of the big blind, and the flop came down {Q-Spades}{7-Spades}{6-Hearts}. Both players checked.

The turn was the {7-Clubs}, and Riess checked. McLaughlin bet 2 million, and Riess called to see the {K-Clubs} land on the river. Riess checked, and McLaughlin fired 3.3 million. Riess folded, and McLaughlin won the pot.
