Sweat for Mortensen

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Jaime Kaplan raised to 80,000 from middle position, and Simon Ravnsbaek three-bet all in for 790,000. Carlos Mortensen thought for a minute, then pushed forward a call from the big blind. Kaplan also thought for a minute, but decided to fold. The players turned up their cards:

Ravnsbaek: {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}
Mortensen: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

Both players held pocket kings, and they would split the pot unless one of them made a flush. The flop came {8-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{2-Clubs}, giving Ravnbaek a flush draw, but the turn was the {4-Hearts} and the river the {3-Diamonds}. The flush did not materialize for Ravnsbaek, and the players split the pot.
