Heads Up: Eric Baldwin & Matt Waxman
Heads Up: Eric Baldwin & Matt Waxman

Hand #122: Eric Baldwin limped from the button and Matt Waxman checked his option from the big. Waxman then check-folded to a bet of 40,000 on the {j-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}.

Hand #123: Matt Waxman opened for 80,000 and then called when Baldwin made it 190,000 to go. The {2-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{4-Clubs} flop saw Baldwin lead out for 155,000, Waxman call and the dealer burn and turn the {10-Diamonds}. Baldwin led out for 335,000, Waxman made it 675,000 and Baldwin moved all in for 1.605 million. Waxman called and the cards were turned up.

Waxman: {A-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Baldwin: {2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}

Waxman had turned top two but Baldwin was ahead with his flopped set of deuces. Waxman could clinch victory with either an ace or ten on the river, but it wasn't his time as the {K-Diamonds} blanked on the river.
