Wolansky: {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}

The board ran out {K-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{4-Spades} and Wolansky was able to win the pot with his pair of kings. Crain Doubles Through Mueller

Level 25

Omaha Eight-or-Better

Greg Mueller opened the betting with a raise. It trickled around to Eric Crain's big blind and with only 87,000 total, Crain did not look happy.

"Wow," Crain said. "It's bad."

Another moment passed.

"Alright, good luck Greg," said Crain as he announced a three-bet. Mueller four-bet and Crain called all in.

Crain: {K-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}
Mueller: {A-Hearts}{j-Spades}{10-Spades}{2-Diamonds}

The flop came {5-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} and Mueller jumped into the lead with jacks and fives. The {8-Spades} hit fourth street.

"Good game, guys," said Crain, standing up from the table and putting his backpack on.

However, his departure ultimately did not occur as the {K-Diamonds} struck fifth street and Crain was able to make a winning pair of kings.

"Wooooooow," boomed Crain. "I didn't even see the king!"

Crain is now sitting on about 190,000 while Mueller has fallen to about 600,000.

Wolansky then check-raised on sixth when he caught a king, and Crain an ace. Crain called seventh.

Crain: {x-}{x-}{x-}/{6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}
Wolansky: {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{k-Clubs}/{a-Spades}{10-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

Wolansky's set of kings were good, and Day 1 chipleader Crain has fallen to the short stack.

No-Limit Hold'em

Steven Wolansky was first to act and opened to 24,000. Eric Crain three-bet to 68,000 from the button and it folded around to Michael Malm who went into the tank. Eventually he opted to flat call. Wolansky stuck around too.

The trio took in a flop of {8-Spades}{j-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} and Malm snap-shipped all in for 59,000. Wolansky called and Crain did the same. Both players checked down the {Q-Diamonds} turn and {A-Clubs} river.

Wolansky showed {4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} but was bested by Crain's {K-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}. The best hand, however, was held by Malm who had {Q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} for two pair of queens and jacks. Malm was able to triple to about 385,000.

Wolansky stayed pat for the third draw, and his opponents each drew one. Wolansky bet, Crain folded, and Malm made what appeared to be a reluctant call. Wolansky showed a {7-}{6-}{4-}{3-}{2-}. Malm's cards hit the muck.

Crain's Two Pair Scoops

Level 25

Stud Eight or Better

Eric Crain and Michael Malm put in three bets on the first round, then Crain called bets on every street.

Crain: {6-Clubs}{4-Hearts}/{4-Spades}{8-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}/{q-Clubs}
Malm: {5-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}/{3-Spades}{2-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}

Malm had three pairs, but Crain's sixes were better than any of them, so his sixes and fours took the pot.
