The board read when we found Marco Johnson and an opponent heads up in a hand. It was checked to Johnson who fired out a bet. His opponent called and the river paired the board with the . Another check to Johnson prompted one more bet.
Johnson's opponent clicked it right back with a raise and Johnson wasted little time three-betting. His opponent called but mucked his cards after seeing Johnson roll over for a flopped diamond flush.
After scooping this pot and stacking his new chips, Johnson's stack sits around 140,000.
We found Mike Kim in a pot having raised from early position. His opponent, in the small blind, check-raised his 5,600 bet to 11,200 after a flop. Kim made the call. The turn completed the three-flush with the , and Kim's opponent made a small bet of 8,000. Kim forced his opponent all in, and the player folded.
We picked up with the action on fourth street to see Scott Fischman throw out a bet. Chris Reslock called and the same action occurred on fifth. Fischman checked sixth and Reslock led out. Fischman called and checked once again on seventh. Reslock bet once more.
Fischman sat up straight in his seat and looked disheartened, but tossed out a call. Reslock rolled over for a straight and Fischman flung his hole cards at the muck. Reslock scooped up the pot and now has about 74,000 in chips. Fischman, on the other hand, has been crippled to only 8,000.
Eric Crain, showing a pair of queens, bet into a pair of opponents with three-flush boards on sixth street. The first player raised, and the second player folded after some thought. Crain called, and both players checked dark on seventh.
We arrived at the table to see the action on seventh street. With a sizable chunk of change already in the center of the table, Joe Cassidy was facing one last bet from Andy Bloch. Cassidy pondered for about twenty seconds before moving out calling chips.
Bloch rolled over and Cassidy flung his hold cards at the muck. Bloch is now up to about 39,000 while Cassidy has fallen to 52,000.
One player checked to Chris Vitch, better known by his online handle "DeathDonkey," who fired out on a flop. A player in late position called, as did the first player. The action went the same on a turn and river.
Vitch:
Late Position:
Early Position:
The early-position player grabbed the high half with two pair, while Vitch and the other player split the low half.
Marco Johnson's opponent bet the last of his chips after all the draws were over, and Johnson snap-called, rolling over for the nuts. His castle of chips continues to grow.
The board read and Chris Reslock fired a bet of 12,000 chips into a pot that had roughly 20,000 in it. His opponent across the table announced a call. Reslock shrugged.
"Nothin," said Reslock.
His opponent showed and took down the top with his trip aces. Reslock is now down to about 64,000.
