Christmas Canceled

Level 1 : 25/25, 0 ante

We arrived at the table to see Chris Hanley, who told the table his nickname was “Chris Cringle” and did indeed look like Santa Claus with his long bushy white beard, all in on a flop of {8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{7-Spades}.

He turned over {10-Hearts}{9-Spades} for the up and down straight draw. His opponent, Zephyr Pering, turned over {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades} for flopped quads. The turn {q-Diamonds} and river {6-Spades} didn’t really matter and Hanley said, “What are you gonna do?” before taking his leave.

Hanley is out, but it was a nice double-up for Pering here in the first few hands.
