So far 999 entrants have sat down to play as the tournament kicks off, with that number set to rise steadily as we go along.
Registration is still open up to the start of Level 7 which will come around 8 p.m. tonight.
Short-handed play will continue until three players bust from a table, so that could produce some interesting dynamics.
