Menard Crushes Kaverman

Level 9 : 400/800, 0 ante
Byron Kaverman
Byron Kaverman

A brief but intense preflop raising war resulted Byron Kaverman being all-in and at risk of elimination from this tournament.

Kaverman revealed {A-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} and was way behind to the {A-Spades}{K-Clubs} that dominated him. Neither player improved on the {7-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{10-Spades} board, Menard winning the pot by virtue of his king-kicker, and like that Kaverman was gone.

"I got all of Byron's chips," said Menard to Marvin Rettenmaier who had walked over to watch the hand play out.

"Wow, he had a lot of chips, too." said Rettenmaier.
