Two Outs Is All You Need

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

After a preflop raise and a call, a player in middle position three-bet and Jim Custer moved all in. The player just behind him snapped that off with {A-Hearts}{A-Spades} and Custer was caught with the fingers in the cookie jar, he revealed {4-Spades}{4-Clubs}. However, the {4-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{6-Spades}{J-Hearts} flop gave him a double up for 133,500 and he now got about double the average.

On the same table we do have another two big stacks: Michael Wilson and Richard Lysinger, both with now up to date chip counts.

Crash And Byrne

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

Sean Byrne seems to be the min raise master as he won another big pot on his previous table with the same strategy. Just now he saw the {7-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{2-Spades}{3-Hearts} turn and Kevin Brown bet 33,000. Byrne raised to 70,000 and that shut down all further action. Both players are chipped up nicely.

Back To Not Winning Flips

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

Edward Brogdon three-bet shoved for 56,000 into an open raise from Dennis Phillips and the former WSOP Main Event runner up could not win the flip with tens versus {A-}{Q-}. That is one out of XX for the day.

Shortly after, Tanya Gawarecki bet and then moved all in when she got raised on a {K-Spades}{J-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{A-Clubs} turn. She "could not see the opponent raise there with two clubs," and pushed with {Q-Spades}{9-Diamonds} but it was a split pot versus {Q-Hearts}{10-Hearts} anyways.

Poker Jokes

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

Several more players have moved tables as their table has broken but they don’t always remember to bring all their belongings with them.

“Who moved from the broken table and left a bag?” The floor called out.

“Was it an old bag?” one player shouted from a distant table.

“What was her name?” shouted out another.

Munro Moves

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

Richard Munro has been moved to another table as more players exit and the tables are balanced. His new tablemates, including one of the other big stacks Kevin Detienne, eyed up his chips.

They weren't too worried though and said so as most of the table had above the average stack of 147,000.

Except for seat two who had just 70,000 and plaintively said, “Hey guys, I can hear you. I’m still here.”

A Wise Decision

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

On a {J-Hearts}{A-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} flop, the opponent of Sean Byrne bet 25,000 for just under potsize and the Irishman min-raised to 50,000. "Good bet," his opponent said and eventually tossed his cards to the dealer.

One table over we noticed another bigger stack and that belongs to Anthony Wise. He just got involved in a hand with Deborah Phillips and won the pot post-flop with a bet of 13,000. Nothing special but an excuse for us to update his chip count.

Stacked Up

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

Richard Munro is the first player to accumulate half a million in chips. After heavy preflop action there was already 100,000 in the pot when the {3-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{J-Spades} flop fell. The small blind checked and Munro bet 75,000 out of the big blind - snap fold from the opponent.

Dan Heimiller likes to stack his chips in a very awkward way, but since we just got back from the break it was still nicely in stacks of 20 by the dealers and thus we could get an idea of the new amount.
