Hand #228-229: Last Two Hands Before Break

Level 8 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Hand #228: Kory Kilpatrick raised to 50,000 on the button, Eric Wasserson defended, and the flop fell {q-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{6-Hearts}. Wasserson check-folded to a bet of 50,000.

Hand #229: Wasserson was on the button, and raised to 50,000. Kilpatrick called, the dealer fanned {9-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}, and Kilpatrick checked. Wasserson fired out another 50,000, Kilpatrick called, and the turn was the {a-Diamonds}. Wasserson bet another 135,000, Kilpatrick again called, and the {a-Spades} completed the board.

Kilpatrick knuckled a third and final time, Wasserson splashed 295,000 forward, and Kilpatrick slipped into the tank. After around a minute he folded, and Wasserson pulled in the pot.
