WSOP bracelet winner Timothy Adams defended his big blind against an under the gun raise to 6,500 from 2010 November Niner Soi Nguyen and they went heads-up to a flop.

Adams check-called a 7,500-chip bet from Nguyen, and did the same when Nguyen bet 18,000 on the scary turn.

Both players then checked the river and Adams showed down to earn the check mark and collect the pot.
