Razz

Lisandro: {2-}{6-}{3-}{3-}{10-}{2-}{x-}
Pescatori: {5-}{8-}{3-}{A-}{7-}{3-}{x-}

We arrived at the table on fifth street to find Jeff Lisandro all in for his tournament life against Max Pescatori. Lisandro stood up from the table and threw his hands up in the air to see that he made pairs on both fifth and sixth street. He peeked at his seventh street card then threw it into the muck, eliminated by Pescatori's eighty-seven.

Ohel Gets it Back And More

Level 20

Stud

Randy Ohel has been involved in a lot of pots and he just scooped one up against Daniel Negreanu to put him near the top of the counts.

On sixth street Ohel bet and Negreanu called, after which the same process repeated itself on seventh.

Ohel: {X-}{X-} / {10-Clubs}{J-Spades}{9-Clubs}{10-Spades} / {X-}
Negreanu: {X-}{X-} / {Q-Spades}{10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} / {X-}

"Kings up," Ohel announced when Negreanu called and showed {K-Spades}{K-Hearts}{2-Spades}.

"Damn," Negreanu sighed, "Queens up."

Negreanu mucked his cards and Ohel raked in yet another pot.

Madsen Crippled, Hang Soaring

Level 20

Catching the action on fifth street we found Jeff Madsen betting 20,000 only to have Tommy Hang raise to 40,000. Madsen called, and then called bets on sixth and seventh.

Hang: {X-}{X-} / {K-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} / {X-}
Madsen: {X-}{X-} / {7-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{8-Spades}{5-Hearts} / {X-}

Hang tabled his {3-Clubs}{3-Hearts} / {4-Diamonds} and scooped a monster pot to soar to 725,000 as Madsen was left crippled with just 15,000 in chips.

Negreanu Doubles Through Ohel

Level 20

Stud

Negreanu: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs} / {K-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{a-Clubs} / {q-Clubs}
Ohel: {J-Spades}{J-Diamonds} / {4-Spades}{2-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} / {3-Spades}
Chen: {x-}{x-} / {q-Spades}{7-Hearts}{x-} - fold

Randy Ohel was the bring in and it folded around to Daniel Negreanu who raised. Bill Chen called and Ohel came along as well. On fourth street, Negreanu fired out a bet and both of his competitors stayed in. He did the same on fifth, but this time Chen opted to let his hand go. Ohel raised and Negreanu instantly announced that it was three bets to go, raising for his tournament life. Ohel called and Negreanu rolled over trip tens to best Ohel's jacks in the hole.

Ohel improved to two pair on the next streets, but that still was not enough to beat Negreanu's trips. He scored the double up and now sits at 200,000.

"That right there is the luckiest player in the world," remarked Richard Sklar from across the table.

Negreanu was all smiles and his rail gave a good cheer as he stacked his new chips.

A-Game from David Benyamine

Level 19

Omaha 8

From early position, David Benyamine limped in. Jeff Madsen called from the small blind, and Mark Gregorich checked his option in the big blind to see the flop come down {Q-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}. Madsen checked, and Gregorich bet. Benyamine called, and Madsen folded.

On the {K-Spades} turn and {A-Hearts} river, both players checked each time.

"Tens," said Gregorich.

Benyamine signaled that it was good, and Gregorich showed {10-}{10-}{8-}{3-}. Benyamine mucked, and Gregorich won the pot.

"What the f***," said Greg Mueller from across the table, shaking his head. "David's playing his A-game today."

Ohel Scoops

Level 19

Omaha 8

The board read {3-Spades}{8-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{2-Spades} and three players including Ben Yu, Daniel Negreanu, and Randy Ohel were engaged in the hand. Yu checked over to Negreanu who fired out a bet. Ohel raised from the button and Yu tossed out a call. Negreanu came along as well.

The river was the {J-Spades}, putting three spades out on the board. Yu and Negreanu checked over to Ohel who cut out one final bet. Yu called and Negreanu let out a sigh before tossing out a call as well.

"Nut-nut," said Ohel, rolling over {A-Spades}{4-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{6-Spades} for the ace-high flush and the nut low.

Yu and Negreanu mucked their hands and the Ohel was awarded the entire pot. He's now up to about 575,000 in chips while Yu has dropped to 160,000 and Negreanu to 130,000.

Madsen Scoops One

Level 19

Omaha 8

On the button, Sergey Altbregin raised. Jeff Madsen made the call from the big blind, and the flop came down {Q-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}. Both players checked. The turn was the {10-Clubs}, and Madsen led with a bet. Altbregin called.

After the {5-Clubs} completed the board on the river, Madsen bet again. Altbregin called, but couldn't beat the {Q-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{2-Clubs} that Madsen showed for a flush.
