Hands #29-33: Polk Flops Boat and Gets Paid

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Hand #29: Doug Polk opened for 52,000 from the button and picked up the antes and blinds.

Hand #30: Chad Cox received a walk in the big blind.

Hand #31: Jonathan Hanner raised to 55,000 from the button and Polk called from the big blind. The flop came {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} and both players checked.

The turn was the {A-Diamonds} and they again checked. The river was the {3-Clubs} and this time Polk led out for a bet of 82,000. Hanner called. Polk turned over {A-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} for aces and nines and Hanner mucked.

Hand #32: Cox opened for 50,000 and Andy Philachack reraised to 100,000 from the big blind. Cox called. The flop came {K-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{3-Spades}, Philachack led out for 150,000, and Cox folded after a few seconds of deliberation.

Hand #33: Polk opened to 52,000 from the button and Hanner called from the big blind. The flop came {A-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{9-Spades} and Hanner checked. Polk did as well and the turn was the {J-Hearts}. Hanner put out a bet of 24,000, the minimum bet allowed. Polk called.

The river was the {3-Clubs} and Hanner bet 100,000. Polk looked at Hanner, his arms crossed in front of him. Hanner had his head down, looking straight ahead. Polk put together a raise and placed it in front of him — a total of 365,000. Hanner quickly called. Polk turned over {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs} for a flopped full house, aces full of nines, and Hanner showed the {9-Hearts} for trips.
