Merson Tries the Bluff

Level 21 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Greg Merson limped in on the button, David Borrat checked his option in the big blind, and the flop fell {10-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}. Both players checked.

The turn was the {9-Clubs}, Borrat check-called a bet of 16,000, and the {10-Clubs} completed the board. Borrat checked, Merson fired out another 28,000, and Borrat made the call.

Merson revealed {j-Hearts}{7-Clubs} for jack-high, but it was no good against Borrat's {k-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} for king-high.
