Jan Erik Sorensen Eliminated in 23rd Place ($7,784)

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Jan Erik Sorensen
Jan Erik Sorensen

Stud Hi-Low

Thomas Keller completed with the {8-Clubs} showing and Jan Erik Sorensen raised to 16,000 showing the {J-Spades}. On fourth the Norwegian led for 8,000 and then moved all in for his last 6,000 on fifth, Keller called.

Sorensen: {Q-Spades}{8-Spades} / {J-Spades}{K-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} / {9-Clubs}
Keller: {7-Hearts}{5-Clubs} / {8-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{3-Diamonds} / {A-Hearts}

Ace high wins the low and high pot for Keller as Sorensen could not hit anything at all.

Raymond Bonavida Eliminated in 22nd Place ($7,784)

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Raymond Bonavida
Raymond Bonavida

Omaha Hi-Low

On a flop of {10-Clubs}{9-Spades}{9-Clubs}, Erik Seidel and Michael Roeseler both checked to a short-stacked Raymond Bonavida, who bet 8,000 and left himself just a single orange T1,000 behind. Both his opponents called and then check-called the last 1,000 on the {9-Diamonds} turn. Seidel and Roeseler both checked the {A-Hearts} river and the cards were turned up.

Bonavida showed the {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} for two pair, but it was no good as Roeseler had a full house with the {2-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{a-Clubs}. Seidel mucked and Bonavida was sent packing in 22nd place for $7,784.

Glantz Walks Into Royal Flush

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Omaha Hi-Low

Pre flop Andrey Zhigalov raised to 16,000 and Matt Glantz made the call to see the {4-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds} flop. The Russian bet 8,000 and was called before checking the {10-Diamonds} on the turn. Zhigalov bet 16,000 and Glantz tank called, leaving himself with only 30,000 behind. The Russian announced "Royal Flush" with absolutely no excitement or emotion in his voice and turned over {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{6-Spades}.

One hand later, Glantz called a raise from the button and then folded an ace high flop.

Last but not least he was all in for 17,000 and got three callers including Tyson Marks, Konstantin Puchkov and Zhigalov. The three of them checked down the {K-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{10-Diamonds} board until the river, Puchkov bet 16,000 and the other two players mucked their cards. Tom Schneider in the blinds had folded the nut flush pre flop.

Puchkov: {9-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{4-Spades}
Glantz: {Q-Spades}{7-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{10-Spades}

Why Puchkov bet, the players on the table didn't understand. Glantz didn't mind though as he now has a few more big bets after scooping the pot.

Jeet Shetty Eliminated in 21st Place ($7,784)

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Jeet Shetty
Jeet Shetty

Omaha Hi-Low

Jeet Shetty opened for 16,000 from the hijack and Christopher McHugh called from the button. Fu Wong came along from the big blind and three players saw a flop of {5-Spades}{9-Hearts}{3-Spades}. Wong checked, Shetty bet 8,000, and McHugh raised to 16,000. Wong thought for awhile before making the call, Shetty moved in for 24,000 total, and McHugh popped it to 32,000. Two more raises saw Wong get all in for 42,000 total and all the hands were turned up.

Shetty: {2-Spades}{a-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}
McHugh: {a-Spades}{4-Spades}{5-Clubs}{6-Spades}
Wong: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}

The {Q-Diamonds} turn and {Q-Hearts} river have Wong the improbably win with trips, which was good enough to scoop the pot. Shetty was eliminated on the hand and will take home $7,784 for his 21st-place finish.

Matusow Takes a Big Hit

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Stud Hi-Low

After Mike "The Mouth" Matusow completed with the {2-Hearts}, Christopher McHugh called with his {6-Spades}. Matusow then check-called bets on fourth through sixth streets before both players checked seventh.

Matusow: {x-}{x-} / {2-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{j-Spades}{8-Clubs} / {x-}
McHugh: {6-Spades}{4-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{5-Spades} / {5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{10-Spades}

"Two pair," McHugh said.

"It's good," a deflated Matusow responded. "Flush draw and low draw. Back on the nubby again."

Mike Matusow Eliminated in 19th Place ($7,784)

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Mike Matusow
Mike Matusow

Stud Hi-Low

After the previous big pot, Mike Matusow lost another hand and was down to only 2,000 that he scooped up to 16,000 with two pair, tens over deuces. Only one hand later he was all in again on third and got called by Terrence Hastoo with rolled up kings.

Hastoo: {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} / {5-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{3-Spades} / {8-Clubs}
Matusow: {A-Clubs}{4-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} / {10-Diamonds}

The pair of queens was no good for "The Mouth" and he waved goodbye, wishing all opponents good luck still.
