A Glance at Glantz' Stack

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 300 ante

Matt Glantz is a frequent user of the MyStack app, but we barely get to see how he actually scoops the pots. As we walked by, he had the {4-Spades} showing and completed, then raised from 1,500 to 3,000 on fourth with the {3-Diamonds} and bet another 3,000 on the fifth when he picked up the {J-Clubs}.

His opponent, who currently enjoys a massage, mucked on fifth with {3-Spades}{Q-Spades}{J-Diamonds} showing and revealed {2-Spades}{4-Hearts} as down cards.

Big Blind Special for Selbst

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 300 ante

Omaha Hi-Low

Vanessa Selbst defended her big blind against a raise from early position and bet 1,500 on the {Q-Spades}{8-Spades}{9-Diamonds} flop. The initial raiser called and then folded the {9-Spades} turn when Selbst squeezed in the 3,000. The three-time golden bracelet winner flashed {Q-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{X-} and raked in the chips. Not really a huge hand, but it gave us the opportunity to update her chip count.

Butzhammer Slipping

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Omaha Hi-Low

Thomas Butzhammer raised on the cutoff to 3,000 and the small blind made three bets to 4,500. On the {6-Spades}{8-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} flop the small blind continued and then bet again on the {K-Hearts} turn. He had another 500 left behind and Butzhammer wasn't too happy about the call, but tossed in the chips.

Small blind: {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}{9-Hearts}{7-Hearts}
Butzhammer: {4-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{4-Clubs}

The {9-Spades} river was no help and the small blind took down the pot with aces up; the German is down.

Thunder Keller Getting Short

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Omaha Hi-Low

Stanislav Parkhomenko opened for 4,000 from early position and was met by a three-bet to 6,000 from Thomas "Thunder" Keller on the button. The blinds both folded, Parkhomenko called, and it was heads-up action to the {j-Clubs}{5-Spades}{10-Spades} flop, which they both checked.

The two then checked the {10-Clubs} turn, and Parkhomenko opted to bet 4,000 on the {4-Diamonds} river. It did the trick, as Keller sent his cards to the muck.

Two Icons

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Omaha Hi-Low

Mike Matusow has been hanging in for quite some time but eventually climbed to an above average stack with 63 players left. One table over Erik Seidel was there, but lost some change after raising the button and calling the three-bet of the big blind to 6,000. The big blind then moved all in after the {9-Spades}{4-Hearts}{Q-Spades} flop and Seidel jokingly asked, "Can I have an exact count please?" before tossing in the 1,800 chips for a call.

Opponent: {2-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{7-Hearts}
Seidel: {3-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{A-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}

Both the {3-Hearts} turn and the {9-Diamonds} river bricked and the short stack survived.
