Grinder Ground Down

Level 9 : 300/600, 75 ante

Michael Mizrachi, better-known in some circles as "The Grinder," has busted at the hands of the controversial character that is Ivan Freitez.

Mizrachi open-shoved for around 8,000 chips with {7-}{7-} and Freitez called with {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}. Mizrachi's sevens stayed best until the river of the {8-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{a-Diamonds} board, the ace on the river condemning Mizrachi to finishing outside of the money places in this event.
