Raghavan Out in 19th

Level 21 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

From the hijack seat, Dan Smith raised to 20,000. Sam Stein reraised all in from the small blind for 183,000, and Ravi Raghavan called from the big blind. Smith folded, leaving Raghavan and Stein to do battle.

Raghavan tabled {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}, which was ahead of Stein's {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}. Raghavan had Stein covered by a little, but the board ran out {10-Spades}{9-Spades}{7-Clubs}{K-Spades}{2-Spades} to give Stein the double. Meanwhile Raghavan was left with 33,000 in chips.

On the next hand, Raghavan was all in with {Q-Spades}{10-Spades} against Nick Grippo's {Q-Clubs}{7-Hearts}. Despite once again having a dominating position heading into the hand, Raghavan was eliminated after the board ran out {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{3-Clubs} to give Grippo a winning flush.
