Double Up for Nassif

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante

There were two limpers for 2,000 and Gabriel Nassif moved all in for 8,100 out of the small blind. The first limper three-bet to 18,000 and that scared off the other opponent.

Opponent: {5-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{A-Spades}{6-Spades}
Nassif: {J-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}

After the {3-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{9-Spades}{Q-Spades} flop, the Frenchman had the straight but needed to stay clear of spades in order to avoid elimination. The {8-Clubs} river was a blank and he sat back down.

Soulier Continues to Crush

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante

One player limped and Fabrice Soulier made it 6,000 to go, which was called only by the original limper. On the {8-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{2-Spades} flop, the limper bet pot and Soulier put him all in for about 40,000 total.

Soulier: {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}
Opponent: {8-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{4-Clubs}

Both the {Q-Diamonds} turn and the {K-Diamonds} river failed to improve the hand of the opponent and Soulier increased his lead in the third level of play.

Flack Gets Free Rolled to the Felt

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante
Layne Flack
Layne Flack

Layne Flack just came by the media table and told us about his elimination. "Two limpers preflop and I was in the big blind and checked with {J-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}. The flop came {7-}{4-}{3-} rainbow, giving me the nut straight. I checked, one of the guys bet 3,000, I called and the third player folded. The turn was the {K-Hearts}, putting two hearts on the board. I checked, the other guy bet 4,000, I moved all in and he called. He had {A-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{X-}."

Same hand as Flack's with the heart flush draw that would hit on the river to send Flack to the rail.

Soulier On a Heater, Bilzerian Gone

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante
Fabrice Soulier
Fabrice Soulier

Adam Bilzerian raised to 5,000 and Fabrice Soulier three-bet to 17,000 from the button. Bilzerian four-bet pot and then called all in for what looked like 75,000 once the Frenchman put him all in.

Soulier: {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}
Bilzerian: {Q-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{10-Spades}

The {K-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} flop gave Bilzerian an open-ended straight draw, but he could not get there after the {3-Hearts} turn and the {5-Clubs} river.

Adeniya Cut in Half

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante

Martins Adeniya got into a raising war with an opponent and they both had their chips in the middle with the FullTilt Poker Pro at more than double the stack. The opponent was at risk for 31,700 with {K-Hearts}{K-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} and Adeniya had {A-}{A-}{x-}{x-}. The board ran out {7-Hearts}{8-Spades}{10-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{A-Hearts} and the stack of the Brit was pretty much halved.

Wang Folds to Pateychuk Pressure

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante

Andrey Pateychuk raised to 4,000 and received three callers, including Michael Wang and the two players in the blinds. On the {Q-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{9-Spades} flop, Wang bet 8,500 and the blinds folded, Pateychuk check-called. The Russian then checked again on the {5-Spades} turn and Wang bet 25,000 with 40,000 behind. Pateychuk put him all in and one of the biggest stacks at the start of the day seemingly had a tough decision before letting go of his cards.
