Colman Storms Back

Level 15 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Tommy Chen raised on the button to 26,000 on the button and Daniel Colman three-bet to 78,000 in the big blind. Chen called and the flop came down {8-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}.

Colman check-called 100,000 from Chen to see the {J-Clubs} turn where Colman check-called another 150,000 from Chen. The {K-Spades} river completed the board and Colman checked for a third time. Chen shoved for 307,000 effective and Colman snapped it off. Chen showed {7-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for two pair, but Colman tabled {9-Hearts}{6-Spades} for the nut straight.

Shortly thereafter with the board reading {J-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{2-Spades}, Chen bet 100,000. Colman called, the {7-Diamonds} river fell and Chen bet 150,000. Colman called, Chen showed {Q-Spades}{9-Hearts} for queen high and Colman took down the pot with {Q-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} for a pair of eights.
