Le Takes Some of Kornuth's Chips

Level 2 : 50/100, 0 ante

Allan Le opened to 250 and Chance Kornuth called out of the big blind. Kornuth then check-called a 400 bet on a {8-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} flop before both players checked the {2-Diamonds} turn.

Kornuth checked again when the {5-Diamonds} river came into view. Le bet 650 and Kornuth mucked his hand.

Timoshenko Chipping Up

Level 2 : 50/100, 0 ante

A player near the PokerNews blogging desk stood up and started to pack his belongings.

Upon further review we saw a board of {5-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{Q-Spades} and Yevgeniy Timoshenko's {K-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{4-Hearts} tabled as he cut down his all-in chip stack. With Timoshenko having his opponent covered, he scooped the pot and sent that player to the rail.

Level 2 : 50/100, 0 ante

Kirill Gerasimov's seat is now empty, and with a quick look around the room, it appears as though the Russian has been eliminated from the tournament.

Linton Has To Show His Hand

Level 2 : 50/100, 0 ante

Philipp Gruissem raised to 300 from the cutoff, Pete Linton called from the button, and both blinds folded.

Gruissem then led for 600 on the {10-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{6-Spades} flop and Linton called. Both players checked the {6-Diamonds} turn before Gruissem fired a 1,275 bet on the {J-Diamonds} river. Linton called, then Gruissem checked his cards and mucked.

Linton attempted to muck but the dealer said "show me a winner," and Linton flipped over the {A-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{3-Hearts} for a full house.
