Price Loses Some Chips Before Doubling

Level 26 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Oliver Price bet 70,000 on a {7-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{4-Spades} flop and was called by Margareta Morris. Both players checked the {7-Hearts} turn, and Price folded to 115,000 on the {3-Diamonds} river. Morris shoed {7-Spades}{7-Clubs} for quads.

A few hands later, Price pushed in from the button for 400,000 and was called by Manig Loeser in the small blind.

Loeser: {k-Diamonds}{j-Spades}
Price: {q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}

Price was able to survive when he hit his three-outer on the {q-Hearts}{9-Spades}{6-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{2-Hearts} run out.

Jean Gaspard Eliminated in 7th Place ($91,037)

Level 26 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante
Jean Gaspard - 7th Place
Jean Gaspard - 7th Place

David Miscikowski called the all-in three-bet of Jean Gaspard, who put in 580,000 after Miscikowski raised to 90,000.

Miscikowski: {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}
Gaspard: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}

Miscikowski hammered the flop when it came {7-Spades}{k-Spades}{3-Hearts}, and Gaspard needed a jack. The {9-Spades} turn and {5-Clubs} river didn't go it.

Level 26 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante
John Dolan - 8th Place
John Dolan - 8th Place

John Dolan shoved all in from the button when action folded to him, and Margareta Morris made the call out of the big blind.

Morris: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}
Dolan: {j-Hearts}{10-Spades}

Dolan was halfway out the door on the {7-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{j-Clubs} flop, and a {k-Spades} turn and {7-Clubs} river were the final nails in the coffin.

Gaspard Loses a Chunk

Level 26 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Jean Gaspard limped in and then called a raise to 80,000 from Norbert Szecsi. Gaspard checked the {5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{j-Spades} flop, and Szecsi bet 85,000. Gaspard made it 190,000, and Szecsi called. Szecsi called two more bullets of 225,000 each on the {3-Diamonds} turn and {2-Diamonds} river.

Gaspard showed {7-Clubs}{7-Spades} for sevens up, but it was no good against the {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts} held by Szecsi.

Gaspard Doubles

Level 26 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Kevin MacPhee opened for 65,000 in middle position and got shoved on by Jean Gaspard in the blinds for 540,000. MacPhee called.

Gaspard: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
MacPhee: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}

Things were clean for MacPhee on the {9-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} flop, but a {7-Hearts} turn gave Gaspard a flush draw. The {8-Hearts} river completed the draw and gave him the nut flush, a painful hit for MacPhee.

Level 26 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante
Blake Bohn - 9th Place
Blake Bohn - 9th Place

Blake Bohn shoved all in under the gun for about 250,000, and Kevin MacPhee jammed over the top of that. Everyone else folded.

Bohn: {a-Spades}{5-Spades}
MacPhee: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}

Nothing materialized for Bohn on the {q-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{9-Spades} board, and he was the first final tablist to fall.
