De Meulder Over Ho

Level 2

Pot-Limit Omaha

Matthias De Meulder and Maria Ho took a flop of {K-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{5-Spades}. De Meulder checked over to Ho and she led for 125. De Meulder called and the {10-Spades} dropped down on the turn. De Meulder checked for a second time and Ho fired 300. De Meulder stayed the course.

The {9-Hearts} finished the board on the river and both players checked. De Meulder showed {Q-Spades}{7-Spades}{J-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}, playing his queen-seven for a spade flush. Ho mucked her cards and De Meulder was awarded the pot. He now has about 5,000, while Ho has dropped to 3,625.

Myung Gets Scooped

Level 1

Omaha 8

We found John Myung and an opponent looking down at a flop of {J-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{3-Spades}. Myung's opponent acted first and fired out with a bet. Myung called from the button to see the {4-Clubs} fall on fourth street. Myung's opponent fired for a second time and Myung stayed the course.

Fifth street was the {7-Hearts} and Myung's opponent bet one last time. Myung called and his opponent rolled over {A-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} for a straight to the seven and a low. Myung mucked his cards and watched as the pot was pushed to his opponent. He's now down to 4,100 in chips.

Boyd Runs Into Boat

Level 1

No-Limit Hold'em

On a board of {5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts}, the first player to act led out for 250. The next player called and action was on Dutch Boyd on the button. Boyd cut out a raise to 1,000 and the original bettor called. The third player let go of his cards, leaving the two heads up to the river.

The dealer burned and produced the {9-Spades} to complete the board. Boyd's opponent led at the pot for 1,975 and Boyd pushed forward a call. His opponent showed {4-Hearts}{4-Clubs} for fours full of treys, prompting a muck from Boyd. With this hit, he's now down to around 800 chips late in Level 1.

Good Start for McNeil

Level 1

No-Limit Hold'em

With blinds at 25/25, action folded around to the player in the small blind who checked over to Calen McNeil in the big blind. McNeil popped it up to 100 total and his opponent called.

The flop came down {6-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and action once again checked to McNeil. He continued out for 100 and his opponent called to see a turn. The dealer produced the {10-Clubs} on fourth street and action checked to McNeil for a second time. On this street, however, he opted to check it back.

The board finished with the {7-Hearts} and there was a third check to McNeil. He bet 300 and his opponent called.

"Straight," said McNeil, rolling over {A-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} for a straight to the ten. His opponent mucked and McNeil took down an early pot.
