Three Aces

Level 11 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Joseph Cheong called a 2,500-chip bet in position going three-handed to the flop. But when both his opponents checked the rather interesting {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{a-Spades} flop, Cheong bet 6,000.

Only Mayu Roca called and they both checked the {7-Spades} turn. On the {9-Clubs} river, Roca led out, making it 15,000 and after a short time in the tank, Cheong made the call.

Roca dropped {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} on the felt and Cheong threw his holdings in the muck.

Flush for O'Brien

Level 12 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

On a board of {10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{4-Hearts} and roughly 48,000 in the middle, Dan O'Brien pushed out a stack of chips amounting to a bet of 45,000.

His opponent went deep into the tank for several minutes before eventually making the call for his tournament life.

O'Brien tabled his {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts} for the nut flush, and once his opponent's stack was broken down to be a handful of chips shy of the bet, he headed to the rail as O'Brien moved to roughly 140,000 in chips.

Brenes Swimming In the Right Direction

Level 12 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Humberto Brenes three-bet an opening raises of 2,800 and his raise was in front of him with his toy shark sitting on top. His opponent wanted to know how much it was so the dealer removed the shark and counted it as 6,800. The player then moved all in.

Brenes the mock chided the dealer for moving the shark in a backward motion, demonstrating that it only ever swam forwarda. He then made the call. His opponent flipped over {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds} and Brenes turned over {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}. The cards ran out {4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{9-Spades}{10-Clubs} and Brenes recovered some of the chips he had lost
