Randi Rusnell Eliminated in 19th Place ($4,817)

Level 17 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Randi Rusnell - 19th Place
Randi Rusnell - 19th Place

With around 80,000 in the pot and a board reading {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}{6-Clubs}, Randi Rusnell open-shoved all in. After a moment, Karen Cameron made the call putting Rusnell at risk.

Rusnell: {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}
Cameron: {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

Cameron had made a great read and call. The {9-Diamonds} on the turn, left Rusnell needing only an ace, but the {7-Spades} fell on the river and Rusnell was sent to the rail.

Shana Davis Eliminated in 20th Place ($4,817)

Level 17 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Shana Davis - 20th Place
Shana Davis - 20th Place

Shana Davis had pushed her short stack all in a couple of times and got folds around the table. She did it once more from the cutoff and Kendra Wray made the call from the button.

Davis: {a-Spades}{8-Spades}
Wray: {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

Davis was staring elimination in the eyes and was hoping for spades or an eight to give her some hope. The board ran out {6-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{j-Spades} and Wray's queens took down the pot, eliminating Davis in 20th place for $4,817.

Debbie Mitchell Eliminated in 21th Place ($4,817)

Level 17 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Debbie Mitchell - 21st Place
Debbie Mitchell - 21st Place

A monster pot just occurred involving Shana Davis, Persia Bonella, and Debbie Mitchell. We missed the preflop betting action, but Mitchell and Bonella were both all in and covered by Davis.

Davis: {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Mitchell: {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}
Bonella: {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

Mitchell was the shortest stack of the three ladies and was in the best shape to score the triple up. The dealer burned a card and then dropped a {q-Spades}{9-Spades}{k-Clubs} flop. Bonella hit a one-outter to flop a set of kings and the turn and river — {8-Diamonds}{3-Spades} — secured her the pot. Mitchell was eliminated and Bonella raked in the monster pot.

Big Stack Battle

Level 17 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

With the last elimination, Mikiyo Aoki has been moved to balance the tables and now the two largest stacks in the tournament are set up to clash. Elizabeth Montizanti is the other big stack and the two of them just had a little tangle.

With the flop reading {3-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}, Aoki bet out 30,000 and Montizanti called. The turn was the {4-Hearts} and Aoki dropper her bet size to 20,000, which Montizanti also called. The river card was the {8-Clubs} and Aoki slid out 40,000. Montizanti made the fold and confessed she had a flush draw. Aoki turned over two black tens — {10-Clubs}{10-Spades} — for flopped top set and turned full house. "Glad I didn't hit my flush," Montizanti said.

Joan Goyette Eliminated in 22nd Place ($4,817)

Level 17 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Joan Goyette - 22nd Place
Joan Goyette - 22nd Place

Elizabeth Montizanti got the action started with a raise to 10,000 from middle position and both of the players in the blinds called — Patty Landis and Joan Goyette. The flop was {3-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{9-Spades} and all three players checked. The turn card was the {7-Spades} and Landis checked to Goyette who pushed her short stack all in. Montizanti quickly called and Landis let go of her cards.

Goyette: {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
Montizanti: {q-Spades}{j-Hearts}

It was top pair against middle pair and Goyette was behind and remained behind through the river to be eliminated in 22nd place for a prize of $4,817.
